Ah yes, the holiday season is RIGHT around the corner! The two things I love about that thought is family time to celebrate and MUCH cooler weather! I am going to determine the locations based on where the majority of all you that sign up live. Most likely there will be one up in North Scottsdale and another in the southeast valley….but you tell me:) Just shoot me an email if you are interested in reserving your time slot.  I will probably limit it to 4 slots per day, so email me if you are in! Every time my Husband are in the Boston area we ALWAYS stop in Rockport  for a few different reasons.

1. Bearskin Neck is so adorable

2. His Mother that passed away when he was only 2 lays at rest there.

Rockport truly is a little slice of heaven with LOTS of awesome photo opportunity. This time around I want to shoot for me….and what warms my heart. It was a rainy day, but that is in true Rockport form. First a stop to pay our respects. Every time I visit I always bring something to leave her. Last time it was seashells from our trip to Costa Rica…..this time I could not find anything that felt right…then I looked down and realized the PERFECT thing was wrapped around my wrist. Janice loved collecting charms and charm bracelets….so I took the charm off my bracelet and buried it next to her. I am very sad I never had the chance to meet her, but THANK her from the bottom of my heart for giving me him. Also, thanks to his Dad and Karen for raising him and guiding him from that point on. You both did a great job!

So on to some fun photo’s. You all know my love of old barns. In fact my dream was to get married in one. Unfortunately, not many like this exists around here. But, I am open to shooting wedding were this beauty is located! Hint hint Brides and Grooms in the Rockport area!

This trip I really wanted to try to take some photo’s to frame for my home. Since I normally shoot people, I felt very free shooting exactly what my heart told me to.

The vibrant color there just blew me away!

We had stopped for a rest and a tradition bowl of Clam chowder. I was dying to get out and take more pictures, so I asked my husband if he would mind it I left him to do so. He said go ahead and I will catch up to you. When leaving the restaurant I walked by the window and saw this.

The man I love… enjoying a chilly New England day and a bowl of clam chowder…something that always warmed his heart and THAT warms mine.

While in Boston we had the AWESOME opportunity to spend time with my Husbands family! These two cutie’s belong to someone very dear to my Husband, his cousin Kristyn and her husband Todd. We had lots of fun catching up with everyone at a BBQ they had at their home the night before (thanks Kristyn;) then the next day we had a tour of the town they live in. While out and about at a local farm I had an impromptu portrait session with Kristyn’s two beautiful children. During the fun I caught them in prime form…..and a lot of the images show what happened in sequence! ha

Last week my Hubby and I took a trip down memory lane….well his memory at least! We traveled back to beautiful Boston where he is from! Since I spent a little time there I will now speak in Bostonian language…(clearing throat)…Oh my gawd I had a wicked good time there! I hope everyone gets the chance to go there and have a wicked pissah vacation! OK, that is all I got! Ha Anyway, the above shot was from our first night hotel rooms! The following is from a little place I like to call a slice of heaven…which my Hubs agrees …except wishes I would leave my credit card HOME when we go there!

Over the coarse of 6 days our travels took us to my Husbands hometown, college, Gillette Stadium (of course) and all the way up to a friend of ours in Maine. BUT FIRST…a very important stop...CASEY’S DINER in Natick! This place REALLY is a piece of heaven in your heart…not so much for your weight…ugh This has been a family owned business for years now and has always been ran out of this train caboose! Seriously…….If you ever get the chance, do NOT pass it up!

Last weekend this beautiful couple braved the heat and STILL looked awesome!

Morgan and Kurt (aka Miller) are getting married next April and I could not be more excited to document their day!
